2020 New Holland C337 manual calls for 4 gallons of hydraulic fluid in the revisor and 12 gallons of hydraulic fluid for the system. When you remove the revisor drain plug do you just loose the 4 gallons of hydraulic fluid in the revisor or all of the fluid. I will be changing the filter and fluid just trying to determine how much fluid I will need.

Thanks

you will never completely drain the system , as all the hoses pumps and so on will retain fluids when you pull the drain plug
and them things can hold a LOT of fluid, how much
every machine is different
way I would look at this is, have enough to cover it ALL or at least 15 gallons(buy in 5 gallon buckets to get it cheaper) I would think 15 gallons will cover it and then some! < and then if you have left over you can save and use as needed to top off, as if you use any implement that use your hydraulic system, every hook up /connect disconnect, or have to replace a hose or?? it will will drain some off your machine!
so your going to need a little here and there before your next system drain period again,
