noticed a small puddle of hydraulic oil under the bobcat, looks like a hose leaking, it looks like the hose that goes up to the hydraulic filter, it looks like it may come from the hyd pump, i havent lifted the cage yet to investigate further thought i would check with you guys, any things to watch out for when pulling a hose from the hydraulic system. just from my first look it appears that the hydraulic hose is leaking where it rubs against the radiator hose, the hydraulic oil is running down the hyd hose to the rad hose and then on to the floor of the engine compartment and then to the new concrete in my shop.... any heads ups would be appreciated thanks

ohhh yeah i forgot is there a trick to removing the hydraulic fluid resevior cap?
If it really is that hose, its a very simple job to swap out. It runs from the filter back to the charge port on the pump (from memory). There are no secrets of how to do it, just remove and replace. If its not connected to the charge port its attached to a tube line, its a little akward to get to but can be done.
