Looks like a small turn buckel from the hardware store would work if it is stuck would work nicelyDameon; I had my block out because I could not get the nut loose that held the filter. When I got the nut loose the spring, tube and filter came out easy I just pull out with fingers. If the block is still in the machine you could use sharp nose pliers. Just be careful screw sticking out is what the filter removal tool screws onto for future use. When pulling the filter be careful that you keep tube tight to the filter so no dirt gets by it. Be sure to clean everything good. Good Luck
