I have an L170 with mechanical levers to uncouple bucket or other attachments and New Holland does not make or supply the kit any more has anyone seen an electric linear actuator used in place of the hydraulic cylinder that was used on the hydraulic kits, I can figure wiring out, I seen someplace some did that but cannot find it any more.

I have not seen an electric actuator used there. Not saying it's not possible, but will have to be a higher force one (3000lbs + ?). I have the hydraulic setup on my L185 and if you don't keep up on lubricating the latch pins they bind up and the cylinder can't latch. You probably could use the triangular pivot blocks that replace the handles in the hydraulic setup. You would have to figure out how to attach the actuator to them.
Are you familiar with the hydraulic setup or seen the parts breakdown? Messicks.com is a good source for the parts catalog. The key, most expensive parts are the triangular handle replacements, the cylinder, and valve.
Here's a cheaper source for the valve: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Eaton-Vickers-Manifold-Solenoid-Mcd-7499-4w-12dc-MCD-7499-/273373666737
And a used cylinder: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2754936370...FwUZgmCWtBVvxSJjw9D/++9FI=|tkp:Bk9SR-jPhtXPYQ

Thank you for the information on the valve, I have a cylinder, triangular blocks & the parts list the valve is the biggest cost New holland wants $899.00 this will make it lot cheaper and I used to mount the valve behind the fender instead of mount plate then all had to do was run hoses down the boom to the cylinder.
