Hello, I have an LX665 that I have an awful time connecting a snowblower or log splitter when the engine is running. I have purchased a (supposedly) pressure relief male fitting that does not seem to do the job. As I say, when the engine is running I am unable to connect either of the attachments. The machine needs to sit with the engine off for quite a period of time. Your thoughts would really be appreciated! Thank You.

Shut the engine off and work the aux handle both ways to relieve the pressure. The pressure relief male fitting does no good if there is no place for the oil to go. If you can not connect after moving the handle with the engine off, then you will need to open a fitting on the attachment to relieve the pressure in the attachment.

Thank you Mike, I appreciate your reply..I will give that a try!
