I've got a 763 that keeps blowing oil out of the hyd tank. It acts as if return hyd oil is coming into the tank at a high pressure and is blowing it out the vented cap. Anyone have any ideas.

There is no reason for it to do that....
Is it simply foaming up and leaking?
Does everything else work ok? lift/tilt? no groans ot jittering when lifting the arms?
A silly question, but is the oil level correct before you use it?

Assuming that it is not a G series, the fill cap should be solid, not vented, and have a gasket to keep it from leaking, The vent cap is on top of the tank, should have a piece of sponge inside it and a large flat washer under it, both to help prevent oil leakage

All works fine on it as far as lifting and tilt. there is no foaming and the oil level is correct. It doesn't make any sense to me why its doing this.
