I recently purchased a Bobcat 753G. Each time I start it the hour meter on ther upper left panel indicates different total hours. I found a new panel on ebay and installed it but the problem persists. Any suggestions?

The computer is the other 1/2 of the hour meter, $600 to $700 or it could be a wire problem. Once the info is in the computer it should stay there though.. Cheap fix would be to buy a hobbs hr meter and carry on.
I changes both my computer and guage panel to cure a falty water temp guage (was hoping comp would fix a aux hyd problem I had to of would not have sprung for it,) and never fixed either problem/

Thanks for the input. Sounds like the computer might be an expensive experiment. Out of curiosity, is the computer something I could install myself and if so, where is it located?

The one on a 773 g is inside the frame just beside your left boot, remove the panel on the inside by the foot pedal and there it is.
There computer need to be programed in some ways to match the machine its in.
Hours have to be set,
Options like bucket positioning, hi flow, have to be enabled if needed.
I had the dealer plug mine into there machine and set it to meet my requirements and shp it to me. The actual install itself is quite basic.
