Hooking up new attachments in aux hydraulic question

Just got a brand new grapple bucket for the Bobcat and was just wondering after I hook in the hydraulic lines if I will introduce air into the system as there is no oil in the cylinders. Is this ok and will it bleed out eventually? I will probably have to top up the oil after I use it too I bet.

You wont have any issues and I'd bet your hydro oil level wont drop much but its worth checking after the oil has been running thru both systems.

It will self bleed.
Top off the oil afterwards, it may change a little as the air all bleeds out.
