Hi from a Newbie from NSW Australia

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie to this site. I spent more than twenty years as a Paramedic and was diagnosed with PTSD and other things about eighteen months ago now. Sadly, I read about others all from over the world who struggle with the conditions I have. I'm picking up from my first Kanga compact loader and starting my own business. I'm just west of Sydney and there's loads of work out here at the moment with Sydney's new airport being built at the moment. I'm really looking forward to the new business venture. The amount of road works, industrial, commercial and residential construction work and infrastructure is amazing. This gives plenty of work opportunity and after the work I've done previously, my new machine and myself are going to be in our element. Thanks for all the previous posts that I've been able to read so far. Heaps of information on this site. Especially looking forward to hearing from other Aussies, as well as contributing anything which others might find helpful.

I wish you all the best in your new venture. My wife and I just did a trip up to Mackay and back a week ago, the amount of roads works is insane. If you can get in on that, you'll be doing alright.
That is on thing they are always doing, roads!
