Ive been lurking around for a while reading up on a few things that have helped me out with my machine. I bought my first skid steer in december 2012. 2005 Bobcat S250. Joystick controls. heat, ac. power bobtach......but its missing the cylinder, those are pricey little suckers. Im no mechanic, but am mechanically inclined and am for sure a DIY guy, so thats why im here. The machine i bought needed all new bushings and pins in the bobtach, actually had to get new steel bushings for the top two pins as they were oval. Anyway that was a lot easier then i thought it was going to be. The easy task i had to do was install the windshield wiper motor, which once i figured out where all the pieces went, as there wasnt one to begin with to see how it all went, it was a breeze. The stupid problem im having is in the cab there is the fluid tank with a hose that you are supposed to hook a quick attach to. the one you disconnect if you need to remove the door or something like that. I cant get the stupid thing to go together for the life of me. on the tank side there is a tiny piece that pushes in and out about an inch long that seems to not allow it to clip together. I didnt want to break anything Anyway thanks for the info ive found so far on the site.
