I dropped the flexible plastic tube from a gas can into the gas tank of my neighbors Daewoo. I talked to a mechanic at a local tool rental place, who basically said he would forget about it, and that it wouldn't cause any problems. But I would like to get it out. Anyone have any experiences similar to this. your input is appreciated.

Leave it in there you will likely introduce dirt into the system trying to get it out. The spout wont hurt anything but the dirt could. Beleive it or not it happens all the time.
I have to agree, it won't cause any problems leaving it in there.
