Hi all. Just joined the forums. I'm currently in the process of replacing bushings throughout the steering assembly in my 743. I've hit a snag however and can't work out how to get the centering bar off the pivot mount. It looks like it's a clip that needs to be compressed or opened up, but I can't get anything on it. I'm wondering how to get it off and what to use to do so? Thanks for your help. Brad. https://i.imgur.com/2Q9Zqj4.jpg

Really sorry for the image formatting. I can't see a way to edit my post to fix it. If a mod could remove the link and leave just the direct link that would be great. Thanks.

After a lot of trial and error, I have found the pintle has a bolt which compresses the block to the shaft. It is located between the 2 lobe bolts on the same side

Glad you worked it out, they can be a pain in the butt to access and remove
