i just had my injectors rebuilt. just noticed that i have a lot of pressure coming out of the oil fill tube. as much as the exuast pipe. once it is running it seems to run ok except for the crank case pressure.

sounds like a compression problem , thing to do , before tearing anything down , is a compression test , to isolate the problem , going thru the glow plug hole is the easiest method and you could do it in 45 minutes if you never done it before and 30 if you did , you could buy the adaptor to fit the glow plug hole from OTC Tools or make one by gutting and welding to a old glow plug , it is a good idea to check why it lost compression so a fresh rebuild don't go down in flames , like from being dusted : failure of the air filter element or a leak in the intake between the filter and the intake letting dirt in to the cylinders , washed out : over fueling from a bad injector or a bad valve not seating lossing compression putting excessive unburned fuel in the cylinders and washing the oil out , lack of service : not changing the oil enough , burned up : excessive heat from a cooling problem -----------could be easy as a head gasket , bent push rod or as serious as a blown piston and block damage

I have to agree, it sounds like a lack of compression.
When its warm, does it start up easily?
Excessive blow-by is generally worn rings and cylinders.

it starts earier hot than cold. the compression ck will tell me if i have low compression. but it could b a number of things right? pulling the head would b the next step after that? thanks for everyones help

if I find a cylinder that is low of compression the next step I do is to shoot some motor oil into that cylinder with a squirt can and retest that cylinder ( wet test ) , if it is a ring problem you will most of the time see a increase of compression on the test right after adding oil , release the compression and retest again and it will probally go back to the first low compression reading , if the oil does nothing then it could be a head gasket or a valve or valve train problem , when you take off the valve cover take a look at the rocker arms and push rods to be sure they are all in place and close to adjustment , when you take the head off check the cylinder walls for scares and scratches and a lip at the top of the cylinder -------------- you can lay the head on it's side and pour gasoline into the intake ports , gasoline will find a leak faster than water or diesel as it will leak thru a small crack , flip the head and do the same with the exhaust ,, this will let you know if the valve seats are holding
