Is there a way to grease the u-joint without pulling the engine. My owners manual calls for greasing three zerks on the u-joint every 250 hours. I have looked but see no possible way to get to them from the top. On a 642 the pump and u=joint are under the fuel tank and oil tank and slid back to far to reach. There is only one small hole on the left side to maybe reach in but i see no way to get a grease gun in there.

You have to lift up the cab and lay on the pump reach ito the back of the motor, use a grease gun with at least two extentions and have a bud work the gun, reach inside and feel for the u joint and feel for 3 grease fittings, real bitch that why no one service them. also you mite have to turn the engine by hand with a wrench
