What is wrong with this thought of just putting a throttle off a motorcycle on it,that way when it starts to bog down just give it more gas. just a thought right now

That could work, but when it's done automatically, it's just easier.
Still, no reason why that wouldn't be an option if you had no choice.

Well Tazz the hand throttle works good.got it all back together and it works fine. Now I can take some time to get the gov working.Do you know where I could get a back down what how it all works,never had one apart before Thanks

Glad you got it working.
Sorry, i don't have a breakdown on a govenor. Most of them use weights or somehting else that gets flung out with the speed.
Some of the older ones were seperate units that could run out of oil and lock up.
