So I have this Gehl 5635 with about 4600 hours on it. I have a light coming on after I work it a while. Anyone tell me what it is for? Don't know how to ad a picture, but it is the lover left light on the panel. Looks like a gear and thermometer, but for what? Chain cases are full, and hydraulic oil is good.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum
I moved your post to the Gehl page for better visibility by people that could help.
The symbol that you describe sounds like a hydraulic temperature warning. Does your machine have an oil cooler? If so, is it clean and is the fan operating?
What was the ambient temperature where you are? And what attachment were you using at the time?
Cheers - SR

I have a 6635, it too is oil-cooled engine that shares a cooler with the hydraulics. I agree with above post, there is a plastic fan and a fan shroud that hugs the rear oil cooler. See if the blades are broken of any other reason it may not be spinning with the engine running. Did you notice what the temperature gauge was reading on the same panel when it happened? That is engine oil, but shares the same cooler so usually if one rises, so can the other The fan-shroud is needed too to increase the volume of air moving through the cooler, so hope you still have it in place.
