Thank you to those who responded to my needle and seat question. I have installed the needle and seat and I'm seeing evidence that, at minimum, the carburetor jets need to be cleaned out. (This is no surprise given how much debris got onto the old needle and seat.) I know that complete carb kits are not available but am hopeful that I can get individual parts from Walker - they do sell at least some of the parts separately. Has anyone tried this? (4G32 engine) In addition, I must take off the fuel tank and clean it, but the best cleaning method may depend on what the tank is made of. It's not steel - a magnet doesn't stick. Plastic or aluminum, or plastic-coated aluminum? The tank is black and I haven't found any shiny spots. Fuel lines, fuel pump, and filter are new. Also, any suggestions for cleaning the tank are appreciated. I'd prefer to save the expense of using a radiator shop. I expect there to be a significant coating of sludge from ethanol gas at the bottom of the tank. Thank you!
