FUEL PUMP

I have a 742 with a 1.6 Ford gas engine.My fuel pump went out a trying to find a replacement with out going to Bobcat.Does anyone have a part number of a fuel pump that will work? Thanks

My 742 went through 2 BC pumps in about 6-months. Gubment gas really isn't compatible w/ the diaphragm material. Solved the problem with the install of an electric, Carter P4070 pump and by-passed the original altogether. Summit Racing sells them for <$100. Put in a little SPDT Relay for $10, trigger it from the coil wire and run a fused power wire. The fuel pump cam lobes are subject to wear anyway giving low flow even with a good pump. -Dick
