I then removed the fill plug ZIP nothing came out, end of plug was bone dry?? OK so either very low on fluid or?? 36 degree's and super windy, but nothing was frozen up moved and worked fine? any how, I then removed the side cover, and BOY was that sucker on there, had to use a hammer and some small pry bar's to even get it a little, then worked my way round and POP she came off! Ok, now, working on gravel and on the open side of the 3 sided building for light(no power here) oil in case looked dark black, but NO signs of water in it, so, don't think thats my issue? BUT figured while I have cover off, might as well replace with NEW fluid BUT here is the question WHAT fluid do I refill it back with didn't smell to me like gear oil, but seems rather THICK< or thicker than I would expect 10/30 to be SO called the local NH dealer thinking maybe they could tell me off my serial number> NOPE< NO help there at all just its either gear oil, or 10/30 BUT did tell me the 10/30 one would hold, 3.8 quarts> so, OK< if I get almost a gfallon, I guess its 10/30 and if NOT, gear oil?? try and find that drain plug on bottom?? WELL< as far as I can tell there is NONE, zip, not a spot I could find see or feel, ran a video of whole side on my camera and not a thing that looked like even where a plug MIGHT have been or any dirt filling any hole hiding it, so?? NO plug I guess?? HUMM< dug out a hand pump, and sucked out about a gallon and half of fluid ' SO< does this mean I DON"T use 10/30 or, just that the way I sucked it out, I got maybe more than a normal drain from a plug hole??? as I was told if it used gear oil it would hold about 8 quarts> and NO way I got that much, then again it wasn't coming out fill hole, so maybe it was that low 2+ quarts??) so, NOT sure what to put back in it now I cleaned the old gasket seal off with a wire wheel, on both skid and plate for now I just put plate back on and backed machine in under the roof better till I decide what to do on that?/ NEXT, if this helps or not BY each foot well , there is what looks like a hydraulic line with a metal cap on it, one on each side DOES this mean I have separate gear boxes and could that be where the water is in?? if so, can I unscrew the cap off these things and try sucking fluid out of them?? or do they even open up like a drain plug would to fill or?? I have NOT done anything with these as of now, NOT sure what they are so? Mike if your willing to help me more, can I give you my email and maybe send you some pictures of things and help me this way?? My email is mrbbirddog@aol.com I took some pic's today of things, as maybe this would help me explain better and you to help me better?? Thanks much appreciate the help

[QUOTE="mrbb, post: 98790, member: 13825"] OK follow up questions, more confused than not here OK< so, just to give skid a slight mean from rear to front I backed rear wheels up on a 3 inch cement paver chucked wheels and lowered bucket so NO way it was going forward or back!
