My problem is my bucket still will not go up so I'm looking into that problem but would like to remove the bucket. The pins are frozen. I can jack it up alittle to get under there. Any ideas? I sprayed it several times. Jeff

you can try a pipe on the lever but don't over do it
I did try that. I'm guessing it's never been off. I wanted to try an air hammer, but not sure if I could get under it. Is the greese fitting just down from the handle for the pin. I could not get greese to go in them.

If your bob-tach pins are stuck, you can dump some motor oil, new or used, on the top of the pins. And let it sit overnight. If the zerks on the side arent taking grease, you should replace them. Most of the time when a zerk wont take grease its because the little BB in middle of the zerk is pushed in by dirt and cannot come back out. If its "stuck" in, grease cannot get past the BB. Id bet two new zerks would do the trick, and let you get some grease in also. Good luck

I bought a machine that was so bad that i needed to cut the bucket off and cut the pins out. Hopefully yours isn't that bad.
Be careful hitting the pins with a hammer, they are hardened and if you hit them with a hardened hammer, you may get pieces of steel flying off at you. I made this mistake and got hit in the knee. Thankfully i got it out with a magnet.
If it really bad, you may need to cut the bucket off. With it off, you heat the tube where the pin runs through.

Thanks for the tips. I did install a new grease fitting but still could not get it to go. I ordered some aerokroil that stuff works good. I just refill my tanks so I'll heat it up and try that.

My bucket was stuck when I first got my machine. Don't hit the levers too much, you can break them. Loosen them as much as you can, try to get them over center. Start the machine machine and orient the bucket so the cutting edge is pointing straight down in the dirt. Have someone else take a short piece of 3/4" bar stock and a maul, and start tapping the bottom of the wedges. You may have to get a screwdriver and clean out the pockets on the bottom of the bucket so you can find the end of the wedges. After a while, the wedges will start moving up. Again, make sure the levers are loosened up and over center. Any kind of oil on the wedges will help. I've heard good things about a 50-50 mix of transmission fluid and acetone. Once you get things moving, add oil at the top and grease on the zerks.

Thanks guys, Got the bucket off today. I had to pull the roll pin out and drive it down an inch, then heated at the bottom and air hammered it up. Use so many differt lubes helped. Even tried coke(soda).
