Front axel leaking

I am just a new owner of a bobcat 722 and since a few days it looks like that i losing quite a bit of oil out of my haudrolic system. I found my main leak the front axel the seal is probely broken because the inside of my tire is wet. my question it is hard to change the seal by my self? what is the best way to get to it, its the left side front axel. thanks

It should be pretty close to the 743.
It is a big job, but here is a basic run down.
Open the chain case inspection plate, remove the bolt holding the sprocket to the axle.
With the bolt out, use a hydraulic bottle jack behind the hub and pull the axle out of the tube. Remove the bearing and seal, inspect the wear sleeve, replace if needed or clean up for the new seal. Install a new seal on the axle, install the bearing and push back into the tube making sure to install the other bearing and sprocket/chain. The chain may be one piece which means you can't get it on the sprocket after it is on the axle.
Tighten up bolt and you will need to re-seat the seal.

722 has a chaincase on each side with big plate covers plus there was a early and late design on the axle tubes. Seal replacement procedure depends on which one you have.

sounds good. iasuming that i better drain the oil before i open the chain case. and what u mean with re-seat the seal (sorry the stupid question)
