How to get to the freeze plug in the head behind the seat, lift the cab, does the seat lift up with the cab? Then, is the fuel tank removable at that point to get to the freeze plug? Don't want to remove engine.

what machine? that will help a little bit. the seat raises with the cab. why do you need to get the the freeze plug? to install a glow plug heater? theres usually more than one freeze plug on machine

This is on a Bobcat 743. The KAT 11444 block heater is to be installed at the back of the head. I lifted the cab, and it appears the fuel tank and hydraulic reservoir would have to be removed. I am going to forget about it. Thinking of doing a tank heater but not sure how that would hook up.

Lifting the cab won't give you access, there is just a fuel tank and oil tank there, no access at all.
