I have a Wisconsin VG4D with the 30 amp flywheel alternator. The four wires coming off the stator have been cut and then reconnected but I don’t think they were properly reconnected because it isn’t charging. The part number for the stator and wiring is yb76 or the newer yb76as1. It has a separate rectifier and regulator as apposed to the combo rec./reg. If anyone has a picture of a properly wired flywheel alternator that would be great. Thanks

I looked through my VG, VF and VE books and couldn't find any reference to flywheel charging. Didn't look in my Bobcat book as it has an automotive type alternator, but did have a nose about on Google and found this:
VH4D Repair
It has a section in the back for flywheel charging, including the 30A, with diagrams and troubleshooting guide.

Actually, this might be a better link: So many books
There are about three dozen Wisconsin books there, including one on flywheel alternators.
