Float mode on 240 with hand controls ?

Hello all. I have a Deere 240 skid steer that has hand controls. I am unsure if the machine has float mode (used machine and no manual) and if so how to activate and release it. Does anyone have any experience with a 240 with the hand controls that could offer a little guidance ? Thanks, Joe
