I have a Cat 236B. The other day I was helping my neighboor clean up some junk and I drove over a rotten board with a couple spikes in it. I putt a spike hole in both tires on the right side of the machine. In it's previous job the machine was used in such a way that the tires on the right had substantially less tread than the ones on the left. I'm wondering if it's possible or worthwhile repairing the tires, and opinions on if I purchased 2 new tires and put them on the back and moved the left ones to the front. I've heard that for vehicles it is bad to put different sized tires on them but I thought that maybe it's OK for the Skid Steer. Also any opinion out there regarding types of tires. Are aftermarket Good, will they fit. Thanks kindly and have a great day !!!

If the holes are not huge, just plug them. As for replacing two tires, this sounds weird, but put the new tires on one side and the worn one on the other. Skidsteer wheels are chained together front to back. There is no connection side to side at all. I hate to sound biais. but for tires most of my customers like the bobcat brand. I have guys who buy sets of titans or firestones and a lot of them come back to the bobcat tire.

I just ran into this problem today while getting my machine ready for work, see post above how its not ready to work though.. I ran over a nail last time out, and purchased a slime brand plug kit today and put a plug in the tire, inflated it to 60psi and it worked awesome. I marked the sidewall of the tire where the plug is so I can keep an eye on it, but as of now looks great.
