I am going to put a set on my 328 Deere and am having difficulty deciding which manufacturer. Price is not my main factor in deciding, would rather spend a little more for a tough tire that will last. I have quotes from many manufacturers and the prices vary quite a bit. From the pictures and the descriptions from the sales people, the tires appear very similar. Except for extra relief holes for ride, the tread depth and overall weight is near equal. Does anyone have any opinions on which to go with? thanks

Have never ran anthing but mclairen nu air tires. They have the deepest tread of any i have looked at. The other thing is the compounds they use in the rubber. I have probaly bought 8 sets over the years and have looked at all kinds. I just pulled a set off this summer that had 5000 hours on them, and they are worn out completly. They cost about 3,100.00 a set but in the long run they are way cheaper than air tires. Hope this helps ya a bit.

Application will mean alot as some will do better than others. We use foam filled and tend to get a better ride and add a fair amount of ballast to boot. McLaren does have a fine product. I would call a retreader and ask them what they think they will have experience with several brands and know what to stay away from.
