Hello,

Just picked up a Bobcat 873 to snowblow my 1/4 long hilly dirt driveway. Joined to learn more about maintaining it as I have never worked on equipment before. Thanks in advance for all the help I'll be seeking!

welcome to the site, if its hilly, you might want to look into good snow tires , and or chains/studs, as skid steers are NOT that great at having traction in snow on hills, real easy to get things side ways or stuck, all the more so if hills have off camber, where gravity wins !

dirt tires,. SUCK in hard pack snow and ice!, so a heads up!
they sell screw in studs that will help, as over the tire chains, I'd suggest looking into them!

Thank you! I have chains. Will pass on the screws as I don't want to run over lost ones with my car!
