My 1999 bobcat 873 skidsteer has a mind of its own, bucket controls only work from time to time and usually they dont when i need it to. I have had it to my local bobcat dealer and they cant fix it. I now have more money into them trying to than i paid for it!!! I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE

OK. . . . . I've had my 1999 873 for 5 plus years. . . Sounds like a simple issue. What have you / they done to this 873 so far. Most of the time it is a simple isolation of the real problem. Trouble is most just want to throw parts at it as long as you foot the bill. Sooner or later they either guess right or you run out of money. sstec

Try hooking up a loop hose to connected the aux hydro togther and see what it does......and post the first sevan numbers of your serial number

they took apart and cleaned and tested all parts and switches in the system. changed coils and actuators. I think i threw up on the invoice. lol
I see alot of bobcat hyd issues. A friend of mine did some research for me a while back when this problem started I think he ended up on this fourm?? Is there a user with the screen name WTF that had same problem and is it still working???

Also going to try to bypass the coil to the back of the ignition like fishfiles suggested to wtf if i can locate the the right coil. wish me luck. im not really mechanically inclined.

Have you tried the Aux hose bypass as asked earlier? I know things can get frustrating, but follow the numbers 1 - 2- 3. . . . . Not 1 - 4 -7 - 2- and so on. Most peeps here will offer sound advise until you choose to do differently. Just my opinion. . . . sstec
