Not sure they even make the 48" anymore. It does not appear that the fan can be removed without taking the auger out first. It's a fairly small unit. The castle nut and cotter key are all that's holding the fan on the motor shaft, no hub on this model. The fan is drilled and tapped for puller bolts so I assume the shaft is either keyed or tapered like you say the ES2000 is. Curious how the auger is removed and if a person can get at the seal without removing all the lines, etc. from the motor and valve assembly once the fan is removed. It looks like they are one unit and are removed from the back of the blower frame. Again, thanks for your time and info.</p></blockquote><p></p>
