I assume it's the hydralic motor shaft seal. Anyone out there had a similiar situation? To remove the auger, I think all I need to do is remove the end support bearing bolts and loosen the drive motor end bolts so the motor swivels enought to pull the auger out of the blower frame? Correct? I can then remove the fan shift nut and pull the fan off the motor. Can I get at the seal without pulling the entire motor and control valve assembly? Any information would be helpful.
