Hey guys, I just got my first bobcat, a 91 753 with the kubota engine. It has the BOSS and it displays code hf1-6 which i figured out means no signal from hydraulic charge filter. I cant seem to find the sensor i tried the two near the filter in the back but they were for hydraulic temp and pressure. Is there any way to get past the code so I can see the hour meter? Thank you

It is in the filter head as well, the charge sensor is actually in the elbow on the right side, I cant remember but it might be on top it has been a long time since I have seen one of the older 753s. it is smaller than the other two sensors. There is no way to bypass but sometimes if you look just as you turn on the key you can get a look at the hour meter. Someone correct me if I am wrong like I said it has been a while

Its on the filter housing. As you noted there is a temp, charge pressure and there s also a pressure sender for the internal relief for when the filter is clogged up. So look for 3 senders on the housing, one is sort of hidden at the bottom from memory.

Thanks guys, your right there was another sensor under the filter! theres no wire goin to it so It looks I'll be needing a manual for this old beauty

I'd start by looking for a broken wire in the harness that the other wires run into.

thanks Tazza, I tried to find a wire that could possibly go to it but havent found it yet. Unfortunely someone before me must have changed the motor or something because theres a lot of random wiring. I've already figured out some of them so I guess I'll keep workin at it

I did look at a machine earlier to see it under the filter but didnt think to look at the wire color.
