Engine swap, model 773 Bobcat

I am in the process of swapping my old Kubota 2203 engine for a reefer Kubota into my Bobcat 773. Everything is pretty obvious (flywheel, bell housing, manifold swaps, etc) but the linkage to the fuel distributor is totally incompatible. I am not a diesel mechanic, so I am reluctant to try swapping out the distributor without guidance. Do any of you know what to do about the situation?

I thought the pump setup was the same, there was just a speed up solenoid attached to it.
Most sellers on ebay have instructions of what you need to do it make it fit a skid steer, look for a seller like thia and ask questions.
I have never done a swap like that, so i can't really give good advise on exactly what you need to do.
