Howdy folks, I just wanted to pop in here and introduce myself before I start asking for help. I'm a recently out of work Electrical Engineer in Houston, and my buddy has a heavy mechanic shop. I've been helping him with his electrical troubleshooting and repair on all kinds of fun dozers/telehandlers/track loaders and whatnot, learning a lot about mechanics and a bit about hydraulic systems. It has been a lot of fun and puts at least a few dollars in my pocket. I've found all kinds of useful information on your forums, they've helped me a whole bunch, so I'm real glad that this community is here, and I hope that maybe I can be useful with some general electrical troubleshooting knowledge somewhere down the line. The reason I'm finally creating an account is because I've finally found myself stuck on a project. I've got a T300 Bobcat that was pulled from a ditch after a flood last summer, it has been thoroughly cleaned out and refurbished, runs nice at this point, but it is throwing a bunch of codes, and I'm having hella trouble just identifying all the right components and harness connectors and whatnot. I have found the service manual here already which has helped me get as far as I have already ( already cleared out three codes!). So, I'm going to go over to the correct forum page and create a detailed post there about the mysteries in this machine. (Bobcat>Compact Track Loaders, is the correct place, right?). So if anyone knows bobcats, please pop over and throw some ideas at me! Thanks for being here folks. PS, When I look at the preview, it looks like it is removing my paragraph breaks. How do you keep your posts from just looking like a wall of text?

Hi Hermie,
Welcome to the Forum!
The page that you mentioned is the correct one for your machine.
To avoid the “word wall”, click on the “profile” tab shown above (the one with the check mark icon next to it. On your profile page, check the box on the “HTML text box” option, should be the bottom most check box on that page. Once you have done that, click update at the bottom of the page and you should be off!!
Note: This assumes that you are using IE as a browser. Doesn't work with other browsers. I have made it work on my Mac using Google Chrome and an IE add-on, but it is painful.

Thanks! That did the trick once I found a windows computer to use. It didn't work on my Chromebook, so I'll have to go find that extension you mentioned. Apreciate the help and the great forums.

Is there any way to edit a post after I make it? I'd like to remove the serial number. After I think about it, seems like a little too specific of information to be putting on the internet.

Sadly there is no edit feature at this time.
