I turned around to the bobcat smoking and electrical harness melting together. A older 753L I spliced all the wires back together, replaced a relay and hunted around trying to find blown fuses and otherwise diagnose. When I turn the key I get nothing no starter solenoid sounds, nothing on boss display, no beeping no headlights just dead. I checked starter for power and am trying to understand the fuel shutdown solenoid and timer which doesn't engage and pull pump off stop. What can I troubleshoot? Can i bypass anything to show some life? Should I change other relays? Are there other fuses i am not seeing? It is a older c series I believe, rectangular headlights and has been bulletproof. Guys if you have some more steps to take please inform :)

I find it odd you get nuttin. Lets start with the basics. Battery voltage 12.5+ Good ground???? Now check main fuse inline just above battery? Are we sure this is good? If so, now bypass starter solenoid with two screwdrivers like when you were a kid with your POS old car starter solenoid. s Motor should crank, regardless but not fire.... If you still get nothing, I would still look at these basic tests, you are missing something easy.

when you say boss you have said it all. should be tho old school glass fuses in upper left panel (maybe) , pull left panel KEY switch, look for green,

Tried to bypass starter got a whirling noise. No turnover. Fuse above battery reads good, but will still replace today. Checked behind ignition and boss panel for more fuses/signs. Trying to check wires for power and such seems like maybe one of my wires to the fuel solenoid timer doesn't have power. Just still searching and scratching my head.

Revise seems like all three wires coming out of the solenoid fuel timer are grounds where the three going in are two grounds one power. (I have test light only understanding almost nothing about it.....)Urgh

If crossing the starter solinoid the motor should crank over.
If you pull the full shutdown coil to the right on the injection pump the motor should start while you cross the soilinoid to crank it. if you get it running you can check the alternator to see if it is charging..., though I believe the alternator will also need a hot from the key switch to excite it.
The boss version of the I had also had a hidden spdt relay under the cab up near the hinge behind the operators left shoulder (but underneath, the cab had to be lifted) this relay was for the stop/run solinoid on the injection pump. ( at least my 93 753 boss had one there)

Switched the relay you spoke of yesterday. I however have replaced a fuse again and now machine has sprung to life except for a hp3 triangle on the display going to look at the wires at the sensor and see if just real bad connection from fire.

Hp3 code persistent also hp7. Says missing Sensor to hydraulic system somewhere and signal out of range. How do I pinpoint? How bad is it just to use it at this point. Machine worked fine before fire safe to assume nothing has really changed since fire to really affect system besides sensors?? Thanks guys.
