With the hoses removed and the 4 bolts holding the motor to the carrier you can pull the motor out. What you see now is the shaft that drives the chains. You will also see a large seal, this is the carrier seal. This is where oil can by-pass from the motors case drain area into the chain case.With the motors off, you can drill two small holes in the seal and screw in self tapping screws. Using pliers you can now lever the seal out. It may be tight and you may need to juggle it a bit, but it will come out. Replace the seals and you should be good to go.There are no seals in these drive motors that will prevent oil getting into the chain case. Where the output shaft comes out, there is no seal on the motor. The seals in the motor ONLY alter operation of the motor or evternal leaks through the motor segments. If there are no leaks from here, you will be wasting your money getting them changed too, as it will not fix the chaincase leak. If your motors were down on power, yes, you may need seals.Good luck in your repair</blockquote>
