Anyone know the average price for rebuilding a drive motor. That's if I take the motor out myself. I know it depends on the parts needed. Just need a ballpark price for a shop to rebuild. The shops around here wont even give me an average price without tearing in to it. I just want a price to decide weather or not to just buy new.

Honestly, they can't give a price till they see the damage, like taking your car to the mechanic with an engine that will not start. It could be the starter that is cheap, it could be a an engine that was cooked. Big difference.
What is the motor doing now, leaking or lack of power?
If it's a leak, there is a good chance it's a seal, if there is a lack of power, it could be internal wear that will cost a lot more than a seal kit.
