Drive chain tension

I just bought a 96 Mustang 930A E-series. It's making a loud popping noise on the left side and also the left side is weaker than right. There's alot of play in the drive chain so I'm hoping thats the issuse. Does anyone know how to tighten the drive chain?

Not all chains are adjustable, when they wear you need to replace them.
Hopefully yours can be adjusted, you will need to look for a tensioning setup. If it hasn't got one, you will need to replace the chain. Not loving the popping noise....
