Older model 630, I'm looking to replace the transmission fluid, I can see the check/fill plug but how do I drain the old fluid out?

Does anyone ever drain and replace this fluid? I've checked the level of mine and it is up there but the oil that came out of the check plug looked kind of milky like what you would expect if water had contaminated, that's why I'm thinking of draining it all and then refilling? Would I just have to suck it out with a pump thru the check plug?

this book I have for a 743 says you have to suck it out so it may be the same. Not sure why it was made that way but it is what it is.

Thanks, kind of what I suspected
I have the 630 operator's manual, and it only describes how to check and add oil to the chaincase (through the fill plug on the front). Thus I would assume you would need to suck it out as was previously described.

Take the first inspection cover off under the parking brake for access to suck it out , if you have water in the oil chances are it needs resealing also.
