Downloadable Service Manual?

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

Not that I ever heard of , and I don't think it will ever happen unless it is bootlegged
gotcha.. I just read somewhere on here that they are available on CD from bobcat.. seems like a logical next step to make them downloadable.

Bobcat has never been one to give out info free , and there is no phone number that will get you to a factory service rep for help , so many other brands will talk you thru a problem , Takeuchi will , which is another reason I like thier track loaders and mini dirt diggers , if they do break which they seldom do , help is a call away

I wasnt nessecarily looking for a free download, I would definately be willing to pay instead of having to wait for one to show up in the mail or driving around to pick one up.

I got my manual for my 853 by calling my Bobcat dealer. They hooked me up at a better price than what I could find on Ebay or similar. It was printed off of a computer, so somebody took the time to scan the entire manual page by page and put it on the computer. This is a Bobcat authorized printer as far as I know. I ordered it, and it was delivered UPS or FedEx in about 3 days, so they are very fast. The manuals are not cheap, but well worth the $. Also, you don't need both manuals in my opinion. The service manual has the essential pages of the operator's manual in it. Of course, I didn't realize this until after I had bought both manuals. Also, the pages were all punched, so all I had to do was put the pages in a 3-ring binder. I can look up the printer's name if somebody really needs it, but my suggestion is to order the service manual only directly thru your Bobcat dealer. I think I ended up paying about $150 for the pair. Let me know if you have further questions on this, and I'll do my best to get you the info you need when I check the forum next time.
