Bought an Ammbusher rotary mower for my Bobcat 751. Ammbusher has a door available for $240. Anyone ever seen one? How flimsy? Worth the money? I priced a piece of Lexan polycarbonate to make my own door and it was $100 for 1/8" thick material. I'd have to make a frame/hinges/latch, and the 1/8" material would be pretty flimsy. Seems the Ammbusher door would be preferable, but not if it's not substantial. Tnx, --- Bob

That seems like a fair price to me. You really don't want the mower flicking bits up in your face!

The eye protection is good, I would go with thicker Lexan, 1/4 or 3/8 It can be bought a a glass shop near you. Its not cheap but real good and remember It will scratch easier than plexi.
I want to build something like that but wider and heavier for thicker and taller brush. and hopefully less money.
Your lexan can be attached with some Velcro and a groove for it to sit in. I would not drill or weld to ROPS , use hose clamps etc. or hinged at the top
