I recently secured a 743B service manual from my friendly Bobcat dealer. The manual was shop used, so they provided a deep discount. I actually own a 743. (Long story, but the short version is that I was sold the unit as a "B" with the serial number plate missing. I actually found the serial number on the unit and determined it was not a "B"). My question: Is there a large difference in the manuals between the "B" and the 743? As always, thanks for the help.

The few things i know of are:
Different drive motors, they are larger.
The motors use a carrier instead of a reduction gearbox that the 743 uses.
Electric shut down instead of manual pull cable.
It uses the same engine and pump though, so everything else should be pretty well rite. I'm sure i have missed a few things but those are the main ones.

The 743B has 2 piece axles, much nicer than the 1 piece 743.
