I just finished swapping the old F2L411 out of my Bobcat 721 and replacing it with a F2L511. The old motor is just sitting now with a bad cylinder and knocking sound. The block appears to be in good shape still with no damage. I haven't taken it apart to see what it needs to be repaired so it could be relatively minor. Would be a great find for someone just trying to keep their old 411 running. $100 for anyone that wants it. I can get pictures as soon as the weather clears up. Motor is located on the central coast in Pismo Beach, CA area.

That will be a good core engine for someone, Shame you weren't closer, we rebuild diesels over here in .au, and have done a few of these engines.

generally a knocking noise is due to crank wear, either mains but generally con rod bearings.
