While servicing my S250 with the cab up, I noticed an electrical plug not hooked up. I was greesing the right side steering. There are 2 greese fittings left and right. The ones that you almost have to climb in to see . Directly under the right greese fitting on top of the hydraulic motor, their are probably 4 electrical connections. One of mine is unplugged. I downloaded a manual but it does not have the details I was looking for. Does anyone know what it might be, if it should be connected? Also, Bobcat place gave me 5 gallons of Hydraulic fluid. Seemed the perfect amount to float the ball. But once running the hydraulics were jerky and no longer the correct amount of fluid. I have to make another trip to get some more. You would think that they would know the correct amount. I also changed the filter. Should I be buying another quart, or ? I rung off the left side bolt that holds down the cab. I was trying to figure out how to replace it. To get to it, do I remove the plate on the inside wall of the cab next to your feet? Anybody know how much a back glass might cost?

Those plugs should be for options that were offered for your machine. Don't be too concerned.
Not sure about the hydraulics. The oil shouldn't have been so low. It's possible you have air in the system. Where did the oil go? was there a leak? If not, it may be in your chain case.

I am hopeing that the amount needed did not take into account a new filter. Hopeing 1 quart is more than I need
If there is stuff unplugged under the cab, but everything works, don't worry about it. There are unused plugs for different options the machine must not have. As to the hydraulic oil, 5 gallons is about what the resevor will hold. Did you drain it out or what where you doing you added five gallons? When guys what to change their own hydraulic, I recommand three 2.5 gallon jugs, it never hurts to have extra on hand. When changing the filter, there will be air in the system and functions can be jery for a couple of seconds. I normally started, let it run 30 seconds or so and top off. As to the cab bolts, yes, pull the inside panel off for access. Also if your machine is 5 gallons low and you didn't change the fluid, pull the chaincase fill plug out of the front to see if it is over full. Normal is finger reach.
added about 1/4 quart and got the ball floating. It must have been just under the view hole.

About the unpluged wires. These are not like unused plugs above the headliner for accessories. This is bigger wires with the water proof capicity. If they were not meant to be plugged up, they should have had a false plug to keep trash out
They often don't have caps on them. When I put a unit back together, I know the plugs packed with dirt wern't used. As to topping of the hyd, it is always that way, just that you need to open another jug.
