Anyone have issues with corrosion on the battery tray? The tray on my 02 773 is not pretty. I suspect during normal operation a small amount of battery acid weeps out the top and is corroding the tray as well as some of the frame beneath. Is there a solid plastic tray which can sit on top of the metal tray? Or perhaps some coating for the existing tray? Fishing for ideas here.

Great minds must think alike, I just got back from Walmart before I posted this. I did buy a box they had for marine use but it looks to be too large. I might hack it up.

I had to weld up the tray on my 853, I end to spill a little oil in that location from time to time
