Does anyone have a copy of a contract they would be willing to share, or know the whereabouts of a contract on the web? I am beginning to get into larger jobs where a contract is necessary.

So far, I have been fortunate and have been getting paid for all my work w/o a contract, but I think its only a matter of time until I get burned. Thanks.

Office depot and other like stores have generic contracts, I ordered a stamp to imprint each one. Ask for general contractors contracts.

My GC contract is 8 pages long and drawn up by a lawyer, it cost $$. For most of my machine work I get printed generic proposals and the same in the form of a invoice book w/ carbonless copy. List work to be done, rate, terms, c/o, etc. Have em sign it and go to work. If you are into larger jobs w/ materials expense, you may want down money
