what is the trick to connecting and disconecting hydraulic lines on a cat 246? i am using a grapple and sometimes it is impossible because of line pressure. i have to remove a fitting to release some pressure just to be able to remove the hoses? what am i missing here? thanks in advance.

Bobcat has a pressure release button to bleed this pressure off. Cat must have something simular. Even still sometime the pressure in within the atachment your conecting and coupling can be a bear.

Are you bleeding pressure out of the machine or the attachment or both?
If your bleeding the grapple, try to leave the cylinders in a neutral position. Not pressurized closed or open.
If its the Cat, there must be an aux. hydraulic pressure relief somewhere.
Good Luck
