looking at purchase from estate sale, No history available. 931hrs. found with dead battery and airbox open with starting fluid can empty.
after charge I have crank no start. codes 1905, 1906, 3414, 3797, ATS FAIL. I have fuel at filter-primer. link to video of display on attempted start cranking.
screen message cranking.

need to make decisions about purchase. What would be the worst case ? If it has electrical , I will sty on it... If it needed a motor what does the market for used look like?

1905 - VCM - 5Vref1 Sensor Supply Voltage Out Of Range
1906 - VCM - 5Vref3 Sensor Supply Voltage Out Of Range
3414 - Short Circuit In Glow Plugs - Cyl.1
3797 - DPF Differential Pressure Sensor Circuit - High Error
ATS - particulate filter - ???

well lets start off with some simple things
have you LOAD tested battery?
if not, you need to confirm you have a good strong battery, or your wasting time doing other things!
once known GOOD battery(and NOT just a voltage reading)

next, IMO would be be check grounds and electrical connections for corrosion
things that sit or sat, can often have corrosion issues and they cause all sorts of electrical codes to happen and no start games!

as for motor market looks like, I would suggest doing a simple online search, or contact a few local diesel repair shops, tell them what motor you have, ask about rebuild kits , or re manufactured motors

as every location will be different, so you need to check on things locally
or just search the world wide web and find what your machine has and what shipping costs will be!
if this machine truly ONLY has 933 hrs
it will all come down to how much you get it for and how much your willing to put into it, to find if its worth your $$$ or not!
a lot can come down to your skills set too, , will you be doing repairs or paying someone to do them! HUGE difference in today's world!

Update - I made the purchase . Now I am troubleshooting, I have made some videos (see link) of my progress and diagnostics. frustrated with factory service manuals that don't match up to my fuse layout,, and the wiring diagrams of the loom are not matching up. I have a 2017 New holland C232 serial# NHM431134 .
I have started with the basics. fresh Battery at full charge and load tested. all fuses and relays checked. Same crank no start, Same codes..(see notes)...codes 1905 ,1906 - for bad 5V reference voltage are suggesting bad source voltage or grounds. I have factory service manuals from 2011 and 2018 as well as a electrical from 2015 (no wiring diagrams). Nothing from the service manuals matches the fuse/relay layouts or wiring diagrams. Major stumbling block is what appears to be a bussman fuse cover and what might be the mount. It has bare lug and and i found a small wire with apparent connector broken off. See linked media files...
If anyone could shed some insight on this , I would dance the happy dance as I am at a loss for any direction at this moment. https://photos.app.goo.gl/CQn84erFYbGhPmW19

Update ; I have been researching and found out (with the help of a dealer NH tech) that the fuse location is for (an optional) Preheat function as a cold weather package.
I am still working on resolving the codes and will be following suggestions about connector locations under the cab with a history of open terminal locations due to wiring harness stress failures.

There was a recall on the wiring harnesses in that time frame. You need to reach out to a dealer and see if that recall affects your machine.

Thanks I have, I was told that they had the complete history and no recalls were out for my serial #. It would have been a nice way of getting a dealer service.
