so the wife asked me to add a hose bib near her garden to water her plants easier, well it takes about 200' of hose to get to her garden from the hosue right now so I don't blame her. since I would rather build something than dig a bunch of trench by hand I looked through the scrap/ steel hording area and found this 4x4 galv tube and 4" angle iron sitting there and though why not give it a chance. 3 hours later I had this attachement to chain onto my forklift attachment. I know this is pretty crude but I think it will still dig a decent trench even with my little 530. we will see this weekend. Note: I did spend most of that 3 hours grinding off galvanized coatings for welding and was wearing a resparator to protect myself from the fumes from grinding and welding near galv coatings. sorry for the bad pictures, it was late, or really early depending how you look at it.

looks like I messed up on the picture links lets try this again.
I'm with you, rather not dig that trench by hand!, interesting to see how it performs.
Even better that you made it from "junk" you had laying around.
