Anyone ever tried to make over the tire "tracks" built from big tire chains? Looks feasible to me but I'd like to hear from voice of experience if any.
Never tried and I am not so sure it will work. Tire chains need to wrap around the tire with tension. Sometimes we have issues just keeping the chains on one wheel much less trying to wrap around both wheels, I think you will drive right out of them. I also don't think you will get much flotation or traction for that matter. Please prove me wrong because I have tons of spare heavy duty chains laying around.
