Started excavating third filter under foot pedals. Got pedals loose and shifted to the side Far enough that the inspection plate came off. Insides look good with no wear to chains, gears, etc. tiny bit of crud in bottom of case but it looked great. UNTIL I found a mangled pile of metal stuck to one of the two magnets in the bottom of the case!! A 2-3" washer, a 3" long rod(could have been a bolt once), a crushed nut and what looks like half a steel ball with a hole in the middle. Started looking for sources of broken stuff. So far nothing but did notice RH chain is super loose(2-3" movement at bottom) while LH has 1/4" at most in same place. Idler failed maybe? Any body got a list of stuff to check? Will start reading manual tonite about chain tensioner and possible failure modes. Would like to post pics but so far no luck. Thanks for any help you can offer.</p></blockquote><p></p>
